Morton Learning Center was founded in 1988 by Patrick R. Morton.
Since its founding, the organization has been committed to providing high-quality licensing and continuing education courses for professionals in the insurance and securities industries. Its team of experienced instructors brings extensive industry knowledge and a strong dedication to helping students succeed.
Since January 2016, John C. Barber, Jr. has served as President and Owner of The Cobalt Institute | Morton-Barber Learning Center.
John is a graduate of Wabash College and holds a master’s degree from Purdue University. He is a lifetime qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table and a past President of the Columbus chapter of NAIFA, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
With many years of successful sales experience, along with extensive expertise in life insurance and financial services training, John brings a wealth of practical knowledge, leadership, and industry insight to The Cobalt Institute | Morton-Barber Learning Center.
